Two hundred and fifty poems have appeared in English Journal, Cape Rock, Dark Sky, Broken Bridges Review, Cold Mountain Review, and 40 other journals. Two poetry manuscripts, Becoming Appalachian, and In the Hinterland, are in circulation with publishers. Mark has a special affection for Floyd County Moonshine, which published a good number of his earliest poems, and continues to notice his work.
